How To Make Paleo Breakfast Bread

Welcome to this tasty little number that will do your proud for breakfast. If you have not tried paleo breakfast bread you are missing a lovely treat.

Not many folks know how to make a tasty paleo breakfast bread so today you will see how easy it really is.

We hear a lot of people complain that they need more variety for breakfast which is understandable, are you tired of the same breakfasts? – Well today I want you to give this bread recipe a try and see what you think.

Personally, I have this bread 2 or 3 times per week as I really enjoy it with a thin layer of natural butter, it’s a morning hit of goodness that I simply crave, especially at the weekends.

This particular recipe will make you 1 loaf which is around 8 slices depending on how chunky you like your slices. If you are a good eater and enjoy a hearty breakfast perhaps this loaf will feed 4 hungry mouths at breakfast time.

Paleo Breakfast Bread Ingredients

  • 250g (1 cup) roasted almond butter (100% almonds)
  • 4 free-range organic eggs
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • ½ teaspoon stevia
  • ½ teaspoon Celtic sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon

Breakfast Bread Cooking Instructions

Be sure to preheat your oven to 160°C which is around 320°F. Firstly, grease a 20cm × 12cm loaf tin with a little coconut oil, it does not have to be exact that is just the size of tin that I use. Once you have done that then line the base and sides of your loaf tin with baking paper.

Grab yourself a large bowl and a hand blender, add the almond butter and get it to a nice creamy texture. Mix in your organic eggs, then add the honey, vanilla and stevia. – NOTE – I don’t always use stevia so don’t panic if you don’t have any, it’s just as tasty without it.

Give your mix a good thorough pinch of salt, ass your baking soda and cinnamon. Give it a good mix, lots of elbow grease with your hand blender to get your creation flowing. Don’t be scared to really get into your mix with the blender, give it a real good mixing

Ease your delicious battery mix into your pre-prepared loaf tin,  carefully spread out the mixture evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Pop your recipe in the oven and bake in the oven for around 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. You will see the mixture rise and you will see when it is ready. I have a hot oven so mine was done a few minutes early but around 25 minutes is what you are looking at.

When you think your bread is cooked, remove it from your oven and allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before you get it out of your loaf tin. Once it is cool enough to handle, carefully turn it over onto a wire rack. Let it cool again for around 10-20 minutes. Slice and serve, cover with some coconut oil or almond butter.

I have to be honest and say that either use almond butter and sometimes even a little natural organic butter. The paleo breakfast bread itself is in my opinion delicious and mixes up breakfast time recipes so you don’t get bored of eating the same things every morning.
